Sarah’s role in Concertus is to ensure that the business is run efficiently and cost effectively.
She joined the business in March 2013 with 15 years’ experience under her belt in accounting, auditing and financial management roles. As a driven, capable and focussed professional, she sees her main responsibility as following and enhancing the business plan and ascertaining where the company is meant to be and when it needs to be there. Underpinning all of this are her responsibilities to ensure that the statutory documents that relate to running the business are correct from an operational and strategic perspective, as well as benchmarking Concertus against the industry and its competitors.
Sarah loves the variety that the job brings and is happiest when she is problem solving; she has an innate ability for identifying issues before they occur! She joined Concertus as she wanted something that would challenge her and improve her business skills and she hasn’t been disappointed, heading up the implementation of the business management (PIMS) software programme and acting as lead on the application for EMS accreditation 14001.
