Avid footie fan, Ashley sees his role at Concertus as very much akin to a football manager.
Using his skills as a good co-ordinator and communicator, he ensures that his team are in the right place with the right support and resources to enable them to deliver great results.
His day-to-day routine includes managing the mechanical services department for Concertus and The Energy Practice, ensuring everything runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Reporting to Associate Director, Mike Foley, Ashley oversees all projects requiring the design of mechanical systems and considers his primary responsibility is the co-ordination of both people and projects to deliver outstanding work to the client.
Having been with Concertus since 2013, Ashley has a diverse knowledge and understanding of the education sector - both private and public –in Suffolk and Essex. This means he can compare the approaches taken in both counties, identify what things have worked well in one, implement those successes in the other and vice versa. He has played an instrumental role in the management of mechanical and electrical designs for CAPIP, the planned M&E maintenance programme for Suffolk County Council.
