Using her first-rate organisation and time management skills, Sue’s remit is to ensure early stage involvement by Concertus in all schemes that encompass aspects of planning, together with large projects that have estate elements within it.
Her calm and even-tempered persona makes her very approachable and she possesses the ability to get ‘under the skin’ of the client to produce a result that is holistic and captures the bigger picture. She is at her best when working alongside her colleagues, collaboratively delivering schemes that range in size and complexity. Her team work behind the scenes to understand and establish the legal framework, financial barriers and types of ownership involved in a project, as well as ascertaining and managing master planning if required.
Sue started her career in her home town of Preston in 1981 and has worked in Birmingham and London before moving to Suffolk and joining Concertus in 1991. She strives to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to create attractive and practical public buildings and environments for clients,with sustainability central to the philosophy behind every project.
