Cleaner

You will undertake cleaning duties for all floors of the commercial premise and will be a designated key holder responsible for unlocking/locking the premises they are fully secure on a daily basis

Cleaner

Your accountabilities:
  • Designated key holder responsible for opening and closing the premises on set days/ times and ensuring building is fully secure
  • Empty waste bins, transporting waste to designated collection points
  • Clean & disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, urinals, hand basins, showers mirrors, tables, chairs, fridges, microwave/drinking facilities
  • Suction clean carpets and spot clean where necessary
  • Dust, damp wipe, wash and polish furniture, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, walls, doors, shelves
  • Sweep, mop & vacuum and hand scrub floors using brooms, mops and vacuum cleaners
  • Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) etc.
  • Handle special requirements for staff as appropriate
  • Comply with all policies and procedures relating to the performance of tasks
  • Use only approved products supplied by us and ensure these are fully stocked
  • Deep clean break out area and kitchenette, thoroughly cleaning surface and cooking equipment
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the role
  • Report potential safety or maintenance issues to line manager
  • Cover maintenance assistant duties including key holder responsibilities during absence
  • Awareness of Health & Safety Issues such as COSHH Sheets

It’s essential you have:
  • Minimum of two years’ experience of commercial cleaning
  • An ability to be detail-oriented and pay attention to special requests
