Project Finance Assistant

Suffolk

To assist in the day to day running of the project finances of the Concertus Group.

 

Team worker:

  • Assist and provide support to the Project Finance Executive
  • Work closely with other members of the Finance team to ensure a high level of accuracy and organisation is achieved
  • Work closely with other members of the Business team
  • Work closely with other professionals throughout the business
  • Ensure information is available on a timely basis
  • Work flexibly to support delivery across the service

 

Business delivery:

  • Responsible for setting up and maintaining business management database daily, ensuring accuracy and information is entered to agreed timescales
  • Ensure all financial processes are completed to agreed timescales
  • Produce client fee documentation and manage the process from enquiry through to contract
  • Raise client orders for budget holder approval in accordance with payment terms and conditions
  • Assist with compiling accurate reports to provide information and research as required
  • Raise accurate invoices to clients
  • Manage client purchase orders
  • Resolve invoice queries with clients
  • Run periodic reports and assist with analysing project financials (current and budget) from initiation through to completion
  • Maintain client data
  • Assist with database analysis and resolve abnormalities
  • Monitor processes to ensure KPIs are met and assist with KPI reporting
  • Produce fee proposal packs for clients
  • Obtain quotes and relevant insurances from third party suppliers
  • Support with PIMS resourcing, entering project resources and reallocating as appropriate
  • Answer internal and external queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Build good relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Update project data in business systems
  • Full project software understanding in order to support the team

It’s essential you have:

  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills across a range of contacts
  • Awareness of confidentiality and data protection requirements
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
