Trainee Project Manager

Suffolk

To assist Project Managers on advising clients on the management of projects and portfolios.

 

Team worker:

  • Participate as a member of the Concertus team supporting colleagues and working collaboratively to develop the business
  • Work flexibly to support delivery across the service
  • Report and escalate matters to management as needed

 

Customer service:

  • Provide an efficient and business-like point of contact. This includes responding to internal and external enquiries and (via face-to-face, telephone, email)
  • Deliver a consistent and professional level of customer service at all times to Clients and other practices within the industry

 

Business delivery:

  • Plan and support projects in a robust and systematic way
  • Assist in the delivery of projects on time, within budget and scope
  • Appreciate the bigger picture, and assist the project managers in supporting client activities
  • Create and maintain project documentation with support
  • Support project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Developing an understanding of project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Support risk management to minimise project issues

 

We would like you to have:

  • Excellent communication with strong organisational skills and a willingness to learn new skills
  • You work well as part of a team and are comfortable taking responsibility for tasks, dealing with colleagues, clients and other industry professionals
  • Basic understanding and hands-on experience in Construction or Property Management
  • Organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Basic knowledge in the public or commercial property sector
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • PRINCE II certification (desirable)

  • Working knowledge of construction design and management regulations
  • Create a positive first impression of Concertus and deal with all contracts professionally
  • Help co-ordinate internal resources and third parties for the execution of projects
  • Support the relationship with the client stakeholders
