As a great communicator and with a wealth of experience, Kirk’s role at Concertus will involve taking on responsibility for all of the company’s professional services with a focus on mechanical and electrical design. Being able to understand the needs of others, he thrives in a leadership role. Kirk has a keen interest in dispute resolution with a strong sense of right and wrong.
With his expertise, he will have technical oversight to make sure the professional design teams are fully co-ordinated and working to provide a great service. He will also be involved with leading the business development, client management and will work closely with the other Associate Directors.
Kirk has 30 years’ experience in all aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering. He has provided engineering services for a wide variety of projects, both small and large, including planning and development services, sustainable engineering strategies, engineering design and compliance consultancy.
Outside of Concertus, Kirk is a magistrate and sits on the Suffolk bench within the criminal courts in Ipswich. When Kirk was asked who he would like to be stuck in a lift with he said Gal Godot, an actress, singer, martial artist and model. He is inspired by her journey from humble beginnings living in Israel, studying law, doing national service in the army and then into acting, famously in the role as Wonder Woman.
