UNDER OFFER: Brandeston Hall Barns
Brandeston Hall Barns are located just off Lavenham Road, down a shared private driveway linking the barns to the public highway. The barns are situated next to Brandeston Hall accommodating open and far-reaching farmland views.
The site comprises of a number of period agricultural barns including stunning internal timber framed weather boarded barns on brick plinths and red brick barns beneath a range of pitched roofs. There are two main detached barns which have a combined gross internal area of over 6,500 sq ft that sit within a site that totals approximately 5.93 acres (2.40ha).
The barns were originally used in association with Brandeston Hall which is a 16th century Grade II Listed farmhouse. However, the barns have since been vacant for a few years due to Brandeston Hall being sold off separately.
The barns are situated in a rural location equidistant from Lavenham and Great Waldingfield. Great Waldingfield is a small village 4 miles north-east of Sudbury and roughly 16 miles away from Colchester. It is also well located to other centres such as Ipswich and Bury St. Edmunds.
The desirable and historic village of Lavenham is also in close proximity—only 2 miles away from the barns. Lavenham is served by a hotel, church, post office, local supermarket, primary school and several public houses’. The nearby town of Sudbury provides a further array of services.
A mainline train from Sudbury to London Liverpool Street takes approximately 1 hour and 18 minutes.
