The Ladies in Property Suffolk (LiPS)networking group have announced that their eighth networking event has been confirmed for next month.
The event, which offers the chance to meet like-minded professionals and hear from three interesting speakers, is to be held on Tuesday 9th October at Concertus Design & Property Consultants from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
The speakers for the evening include the newly-announced first female regional chair of CIBSE East Anglia, Nicola Booth.
Matthew Smith, BIM manager at Concertus and Cherry Beesley, who owns Simply C Photography complete the speaker line up.
There is also the opportunity to network and have a tour of Concertus’ building which they moved into in July 2017.
Organiser Jac Clark “We’re thrilled to be hosting our eight event at the Concertus office, a proud sponsor of Ladies in Property Suffolk.
“It has become extremely important that women in an industry dominated by men be given the opportunity to network and unite with other women in this industry.
“The goal of LiPS is to continuously provide regular networking events and reach out, particularly to young women and give them the courage to break from gender roles.
“We are so fortunate to be able to provide this to them and that women feel benefited by attending our events.”
The LiPS group was founded 3 years ago, to provide a networking space for women in the construction industry and to give them the opportunity to form strategic business relationships and friendships.
The first event was held in June 2015 and has grown year on year, with over 60 women attending the event. It continues to provide a unique networking opportunity to women in land, property, construction and facilities management who are welcome to attend the free event.
The event is free to attend and is being sponsored by Concertus Design and Property Consultants, Bauder Limited and Prominent.
