Our journey began in 2013 with sixty employees forming the Concertus family. Concertus is owned by Suffolk County Council and comprises of several trading companies. Concertus, along with sister companies Vertas and Opus make up Suffolk Group Holdings. The three companies trade together as The Vertas Group.
In 2020 we opened our second office in Matlock, Derbyshire and started our joint venture with Derbyshire County Council.
The Main Board is the primary oversight body for Concertus, and its responsibilities include providing leadership, approving long-term strategy, reviewing management performance, and meeting our clients’ ambitions. Our Directors have a “hands on” approach, with successful stakeholder management, delivery, and employee engagement.
