Andrew Looking to Make His Mark in New Presidential Role at SPACES

Andrew Rowe is thrilled to have recently been appointed as President of SPACES (the Society for Public Architecture, Construction, Engineering and Surveying). When asked how he felt about his new position, Andrew provided the following statement: ‘It is a great privilege and honour to have been chosen to lead a society with so much history and at a time of great change.’

SPACES resulted from the merger of SCALA and SCEME in March 2015. Andrew’s journey with SCEME began over 20 years ago and since 2015 he has been Finance Director for SPACES. In his new role as President, Andrew is hoping he can make a difference. He wishes to support all SPACES members by ensuring relevant events are organised and a flourishing networking environment is created. Andrew is keen to put his own mark on the role and hopes to get more members involved in all different aspects of the society.

The SPACES Awards are due to be held in Cambridge and the event in October will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of individuals, organisations and projects from around the country.
